Currently, Neiley is working on a number of large scale acrylic and oil canvases in preparation for upcoming year.  In addition to painting full-time, she has been teaching private lessons to all ages for several years.

     Neiley has been painting professionally for over 14 years.  Originally, she was taught watercolor techniques and painted watercolors primarily, but has since explored acrylic and oil painting with great success. Her strong use of color and bold subject matter are becoming more and more evident as her art evolves.

     She lives in Monmouth, Maine; where the landscape itself is bold and although the summer season is relatively short, it provides the spectacular floral subjects that she has been painting recently.

     Neiley’s work has been on display at many art shows and galleries. This summer the majority of her work will be a rotating display at “Cafe This Way” in Bar Harbor, ”The Robinhood Free Meeting House” in Georgetown and select art shows.  For more information on upcoming events please check the 2008 Calendar as it is updated throughout the year.

     Some of her work includes commissioned portraits and commercial designs, such as: labels for Payne’s Products of Maine. In 2000, Neiley was commissioned to paint the Maine State Inland Fisheries & Wildlife Recognition Print.  She has over 30 different prints available, as well as many originals.

     Here is the studio as it looks at the end of the day. It seems to be getting smaller and smaller by the second! It’s been a very productive winter and there will be many new paintings for 2008!
